✨ What You’ll Achieve

By completing this course, you will gain two main internationally recognised qualifications:

• VTCT Skills (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies
• VTCT Skills (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Facial Electrical Treatments

These qualifications provide a strong, credible foundation and allow you to progress into advanced aesthetic treatments.

Learners must achieve the mandatory units:

• Maintain health and safety in the salon
• Skin analysis and facial skincare
• Consultation and client care
• Anatomy, physiology and pathology
• Electrical science
• Level 3 Facial electrical treatments – to include preparing the client, checking for contraindications
  and setting up and using brush cleanse, micro-current, high frequency, faradic, galvanic,
  vacuum suction and heat treatments

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety requirements, anatomy, physiology, and pathology and electrical science, alongside skin analysis and safe practice treatment protocols for facial skin care. Learners will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients, and provide specific aftercare and home care advice.
