Indian Head Massage has been practiced in India for over 1000 years. You treat the upper back, shoulders, neck, upper arms, face and scalp while working with the energy centres in the body. Indian Head Massage can provide instant relief from tension and stress symptoms and induce a state of calm, peace and tranquillity and also promote high levels of alertness and concentration.

Course Syllabus

During your Indian Head Massage course you will cover the following areas;
Traditional massage routines and techniques
Understand Benefits and Effects both psychological and physical
Consultation Techniques
Retail sales
Aftercare advise
Individual customisation of treatments

Assessment
In order to gain this Level 3 beauty therapy qualification you will be required to successfully complete a number of practical assessments, which must be performed on paying clients (not fellow students).  It is possible to complete all your practical beauty assessments during these courses, however any remaining assessment can be done later in the school salon ‘client days’. There is also a short project, and a portfolio of evidence to compile, so you will need to return to the school to sit a written paper after home study.

Pre-requisites
Before embarking on this Level 3 beauty therapy course, you must already hold a recognised qualification in  Anatomy & Physiology, or have completed the Anatomy & Physiology course offered at Decorum Beauty Academy.

Students must be 18 years of age on or before the course start date.
